WHAT HAS CHANGED SINCE I GOT INTO CRYPTO
My crypto journey
What has changed ever since I got into crypto A thread:
I got into crypto during the early days of crypto Ponzi schemes, affiliates, and all when all you could think about was making a few bucks. Think about Million Money, Lionshare, Forsage, and so on like that.
Here's the lesson in this thread: There are lessons I've learned from crypto investing that I would love to share with you. Ever since I've seen crypto as not just get-rich-quick schemes, I've pivoted my attention towards learning what helps in making impacts and investing what I can afford to let go in projects that I believe in.
What brought me to this?
During the journey when I got in- reading became an important thing where individuals need to pay attention to reading a lot: studying white papers, project roadmaps, their security, tokenomics, the solutions they are providing, researching the founders, and so many things like that and all that make up the fundamentals such as community, sentiments, support, and all the strengths a project poses. During these jungle jugglings just to make some few bucks, I noticed I was learning a lot, such as what the community wants, what makes a project successful, the kind of products people need, what to do to drive adoption to a project, and so many things like that. So, I decided to exploit that opportunity with my IRL leadership charisma and my passion for delivering whatever I'm assigned. As a solution-oriented person, I registered for some foundations of project management, broadening my knowledge on business development, financial planning, and how to make right decisions.
So recently, I've figured that I'm not usually so moved about my crypto investment decisions anymore because I've pivoted my attention away from making just a few bucks. Instead, I invest in projects I fully believe in after researching what they intend to solve, and if it's memes, it's studying their communities.
This is an eye opening for new people just joining this space, probably through Telegram mini-apps like Notcoin, Dogs, etc. Know what you want (yeah, everyone wants money), but look for sustainability in this space. Pivot your attention from making some few bucks just to go and impress your friends and live a flamboyant lifestyle; look into what could sustain you. During my journey, I got to learn about so many things, even if I may not be a pro in many areas, as I have no mentor guiding me through. All I did was trial and error, from YouTube to different sites to Udemy, learning about spots, futures, and how to use different DEXes. I created my first NFTs in 2020 or 2021, I can't remember exactly. That day, after asking @olumidecapital for his advice, I launched my NFT on BNB, not ETH or OpenSea, even if there were no buyers, lol.
This is my journey, and where I am going is still far from where I've come from. Learning is always a continuous process, and I still continue learning and improving myself. Yeah, currently, I've got some people mentoring me from afar like (
@ilblackdragon @waverchocs @dev_tochukwu @thefinancelion
@vickAlmondo [lol, I especially like the part of designing and how he's getting it done for ventures], and
@Justice_Israell -This man added me to Builders Africa where I'm getting insights on challenges builders are facing. Recently, follow this man @kaptainebere; his posts are always insightful and align with what I'm personally trying to build,
And alot of others like @Justin_Bons @cryptogitt @CryptoNagato @gaiuschibueze even if they might not know this. But I've discovered that having a mentor whose steps you can watch helps because they've likely been through where you want to go.
I believe with what I've gathered, I will soon be introducing my project
@Shedasolutions which is one of many still in ideation, aiming to solve a real-world issue and focusing on consumer-focused innovations for all.
Thanks for reading to this point. welcome to my World 馃獝 fellas let's sail 鉀碉笍
